Monday Part 2

Gar. That’s all I can say. I’ve been messed up (what else is new?) all day. I officially do not like having a holiday in the middle of the week. All day, I’ve been walking around acting (and saying) that today is Monday, right down to the oh-woe-is-me-it’s-only-Monday-I-am-going-to-DIE attitude I’ve had all day. It doesn’t help that nearly everyone in my department at work is on vacation, so it was dead quiet all day, with only Muzak or other sorts of lame music for entertainment. Good thing I can keep myself laughing, or I’d still be asleep at my desk.

Not that I, you know, would ever sleep at my desk. Not me.


P.S. My boyfriend left today. I'll post about that later.

Did you really fall asleep at your desk? haha I've come close many a time....I think once I sort of drowsed off with my head propped on my arm staring at the computer screen. It's times like those that it's good to have your back to the rest of the office!

I don't think I've ever fallen asleep, but I've closed my eyes and thought about it. And then I get emails from a girl at work saying "are you staying awake?" constantly. And I've made it well-known that I think the company should institute a company-wide nap time.

Nap time should be mandatory. Everywhere. It should be a law. I'm fully convinced that a global-wide policy on nap time could lead to world peace.

Could I win a Nobel Prize for instituting world nap time?
